Watchlist

Any person that has been flagged and should not be allowed to have access to a Site can be registered in this portlet. If a registration with a matching name is made on the Quick Register or Kiosk, the Visitors visit can be rejected and/or the relevant people (including the Visitor) can be informed.

To open the Watchlist portlet, go to Menu > Admin > Watchlist.

All names currently in the watchlist are displayed. To include a person to the watchlist, click Add.

The Add Watchlist Person form is presented. Select a Watchlist Type, fill out First Name and Last Name to enable the Save button.

Watchlist Types are configured through Reference Data portlet (see Reference Data section).

Click the Edit icon on Action column to update the person details. All fields are editable except for the Watchlist Id.

If the Known As checkbox was selected on Add/Edit form then the Add known as icon will be enabled on Action column so all the aliases for that person can be included on a linked portlet.

Click the Bin icon to delete a person from the watchlist.

A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm the operation, or No to abort it.

Add company to Watchlist

A Company can be added to the Watchlist. This is done in the Admin > Company portlet. When this setting is enabled, any Visitor under that company will be added to the Watchlist. (The image shows the Company portlet)

To complete this process, the default QR form field 'Company' will need to be made available for the Quick Register (the Kiosk can also trigger the company to be added to the Watchlist). Note that should the Visitor be allowed to set or change their company from the Web App, the Watchlist match will only occur if TDS Visitor is configured to check the watchlist on check-in.

Monitoring Watchlist

Any person that is on the Watchlist can be flagged to multiple different channels. In can be constricted to notify a member of security (the e-mail address to receive watchlist warnings must be configured as part of tdsvisitor setup), appear in the Reception portlet, inform the Host or be displayed to the Visitor. As long as an e-mail address is configured for security, that person will always receive a notification about a watchlist hit.
