Host Detail
A Host is a person who works for the organisation using tdsvisitor and has permission to receive Guests. This portlet displays Hosts' data, and depending on the integration with an access control system it may be possible to create, edit and inactivate Hosts through it.
To open Host Detail portlet, go to Menu > Maintain > Host Detail.

By default, the portlet shows Active people records ordered by Last Name; filters can be modified through More Options at any time. Add button and Action column are presented if tdsvisitor was configured for this use.
Add a new Host
1. On Host Detail portlet, click Add;

2. Add Person form will display. Fill out all required fields to enable Save button:
- Person Type - Employee and Contractor are the default options, but different types can be configured for the organisation;
- Person ID - depending on the person type configuration, this can be automatically generated or user may have to fill in with an unique identifier;
- Department - under Employment section of the form, the department where this person works;
- Start Date - date on which the person started to work for the organisation (also under Employment section), filled with the current date by default;
