Surveys

The Surveys panel display the list of available surveys, the surveys are displayed based on the location(s) configured and on the Kiosk Workflow steps configuration.
The Survey panel also allows you to: Add, Edit, Configure Location, Duplicate, Archive, Show Archived, View Survey Settings and Preview Survey.

Adding a New Survey

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, click on New;

2. The Add Survey pop-up will be displayed where you must enter the following information:

  • Description - The description is displayed on the survey panel and used to differentiate the multiple surveys;
  • Display Type - In the display type can choose between Scrolling and Paging;
    • Scrolling: All questions and answers will be displayed in a single page on the Kiosk Application and the user can scroll the page when necessary.
    • Paging: A number of questions and its answers will be displayed on the Kiosk Application and the user will navigate between multiple pages when necessary.
  • Questions per page - Is the number of questions that will be displayed per page on the Kiosk Application. Setting only applicable when Paging is selected as Display Type.

3. After providing the asked information, click on the Save button to add the new Survey and close the pop-up.

4. The new survey is now available on the Surveys panel.

Editing a Survey

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, click on Edit;

2. The Edit Survey pop-up will be displayed with the current Survey information, you can then alter Description, Display Type and Questions per page. After altering the information, click on the Save button to save the new Survey information and close the pop-up.

Configure Survey Location

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, select a survey and click on Location;

2. The Change Survey Locations pop-up will be displayed, All Clusters, All Sites/Locations, All Zones/Buildings and All Collection Points are displayed on the Available panel. To assign the survey location(s) just click on the Add arrow on the available panel and the location will be added to the Survey Locations Content panel.

3. If you need to Remove a location just use the remove arrow. After all locations are assigned, click on the Save button to save the Survey Locations Content information and close the pop-up.

A Location can be used for only one survey, in case a Location is already being used for another survey the following Information icon will be displayed.

Duplicate Survey

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, select a survey and click on Duplicate;

2. A confirmation pop-up will be displayed, click on the Save button to confirm the duplication and close the pop-up.

3. The new survey is now available on the Surveys panel.

The duplicated survey will inherit all the Survey Configurations (Description, Display Type and Questions per page) and all the Questions and Answers (when applicable).

Archive

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, select a survey and click on Archive;

2. A confirmation pop-up will be displayed, click on the Save button to confirm the duplication and close the pop-up.

Archiving a Survey is a irreversible action. After a survey is archived it cannot be used anymore.

3. The archived survey is now unavailable and will not be displayed on the Surveys panel.

Show Archived

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, click on Show Archived;

2. All hidden surveys will be displayed with a different background color and the Show Archived button will be replaced by the Hide Archived button.

3. To hide the archived surveys just click on Hide Archived;

View Survey Settings

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, select a survey and the configured Survey Settings will be displayed.

Preview

1. On Survey Manager > Surveys, click on Preview;

2. The Preview Survey pop-up will be displayed. All questions / answers will be displayed as per their configuration.

The Preview button is only available when a survey has at least one question configured. If no question is configured the following Information icon will be displayed.
