Manage Assets

The types of assets can be configured on Setting > Reference Data > Visit Asset Type, and the statuses can be configured on Setting > Reference Data > Visit Asset Status Code. Assets are managed per guest and visit.

1. Open the Guest Dashboard and view the Asset Manager widget. This will display the assets that have been distributed to visitors (even after check-out).

2. To add a new asset to the list, firstly select a user to view in the Live Visitor Log widget. Then in the Asset Manager select New to assign a new asset to this user.

Alternatively, under the Visitor Detail widget you can click the Other Actions > Manage Assets to add/edit the asset details of a user.

3. Add Visitor Asset popup will be presented. Fill out required fields:

  • Asset Type - Select the type of asset on the list provided;
  • Asset Status - Select the status of the asset on the list provided.

Optionally fill out the fields:

  • Asset Description - Enter the asset description;
  • Estimated Price - Enter the asset estimated price;
  • Comments - Enter comments.

4. Click (1) Reset to clean all fields, (2) Save to confirm operation, or (3) Cancel to abort it.

5. Click Edit Icon on action column to display the Edit Visitor Asset popup containing the same fields and options showed above;

6. Click Delete Icon on action column to delete the row.

7. A confirmation dialog will be displayed. Click Yes to confirm the operation, or No to cancel it.
