Bulk Actions

From the Reception portlet, it is possible to bulk edit and delete visits. When editing multiple Visits, the following information can be changed:

  • Date;
  • Time;
  • Location.

A help icon is available in the toolbar at the top of the Reception portlet. When the button is clicked, a window will appear, displaying information and the criteria for edition/cancellation of visits.

After pressing the button, a pop up appears with the information.

The visits that will be bulk edited/canceled are first selected using the checkboxes in the first row. Alternatively, there is a checkbox above the first entry that will select all of the visits on the given page.

After selecting the relevant visits, they are then edited by pressing the 'Bulk Edit' button which opens a pop-up and allows the changing of the:

  • Host
  • Alternative Host
  • Due Date
  • Due Time & End Time
  • Comments

Additionally, any fields that are required/visible for the visit are made available by pressing the 'Add more details' button. The changes are then saved by pressing the 'Save' button and the selected recipients (in the 'Send email to' section) will receive a notification with the changes.

If the visits that are selected are registered at different Collection Points when editing visits, only the date, time and comments can be edited.

Visits can then be canceled in bulk by pressing the 'Bulk Cancel' button. A pop-up will appear to confirm the cancellation.

If any of the Visitors were registered within a group, the pop-up that appears will ask if the visitors individual visit is being canceled or if their entire group will be canceled.

Disabling the feature

This feature can be disabled by opening the Menu Settings portlet and disabling the 'enablebulkactions' field under the Reception menu item.
