Features

These features can be added/removed to the Web App in the Web App Settings as per the Settings Chapter.

1. Review and Accept NDA

In this part, the visitor can see the accepted message and the direction to "Review and Accept NDA". Clicking on this button, the visitor will be able to read the Non-Disclosure Agreement and decide if they want to agree and continue or not.

There is an additional feature that can be enabled to display a signature field (it can be enabled in Web App Settings > nda_signature_web_app) and it provides an extra layer of authenticity. Once the user agrees to the terms, the pop-up will display a signature field.

The visitor also has the option to "Clear" the box and resign if it is necessary. If the "Back" option is selected, the visitor is returned to the previous page that displays the NDA. This means that they have not yet agreed to the NDA and may proceed with it again at a later stage.

The visitor has the option to request a copy of the NDA by e-mail after saving the signature. If this button is clicked, the user will receive a copy straight away. If not, the user presses the 'OK' button and this will close the message.

After that, up until the end of the visit, the visitor will be able to preview the NDA.

If the visitor wants to refer to the signed NDA they can press the 'preview agreed NDA' option and it will open the NDA that they signed. The visitor will be given the option to print or request an email copy, should they want a copy of the NDA.

2. Visitor/Host details

This part aims to inform the basic information about the host and the guest. The "See Details" displays the name of the host  and "Add your details" opens the Personal Details field. In this campus, the user can edit Name/Surname and upload a profile photo to the registration.

Clicking on "Save your Details", the visitor can see the success message saying the Details were saved successfully.

Note: the photo field is not mandatory and the visitor can upload or take one at the Reception desk.

The visitor can also import details from Linked-In. This option will redirect the visitor to the login page.

3. Survey

This section displays the survey assigned in the Survey Manager. This section returns the questions that are set out for the survey. Questions marked with an asterisks are mandatory to complete the survey. Once all questions are answered, you can press the 'Save survey' button to save the answers to the survey. The questions are fully configurable (See the Survey Manager Chapter).

4. Invited

This is a static part of the Visitor Web App and it does not require any action from the visitor or the host. It is a resume about the participants of the visit.

5. Date/Time

The Business section brings to the visitor the option to manage the visit giving the opportunity to add this event in the Google or Outlook Calendar.

The Google Calendar opens straight away in the application and the visitor needs to save the option.

The Outlook Calendar downloads a file to be clicked and then it redirects the user to the Outlook application.

6. Upload Documents

This section is to the users that need to submit a relevant document to the meeting.

7. Your Visitor QR Code

Every visit generates a QR Code to be used by the visitor. The visitor can use the code at the Kiosk to the check-in.

8. Car Parking

The car parking requires a packaged integration which will allow the visitor to book a parking spot prior to arriving at the site.

9. Extra features

The extra features are also customisable and permits to the visitor to have a fast access to another important services, such as transport / accommodation.

These options can be configured through the Web App Settings Portlet, choosing the Subset "Display". Another frequently used feature is the Survey, which is covered in more detail in the Survey chapter of this user manual.
