Visitor Check in
Depending on the features that are enabled, the visitor may have to complete certain steps before being given the prompt to Check-in. For example:
- NDA Required - If a visitor is required to complete an NDA, the user will not be able to check-in until it is complete. The message will read: "Please review and accept the NDA”

The remaining scenarios are:
- Wrong day: “Your Visit is not scheduled for today”
- Missing Visitor information: “Missing information. Please add and save missing details”
- Survey required: “Please answer the survey”
- Failed Survey: - Will return the failed survey message as per survey settings.
- If 'web_app_contactless_geo_check_ind' is enabled with the Web App Settings portlet, you may receive one of three messages:
- Wrong CP coordinates: “Remote check-in unavailable, please contact reception.”
- Enable locations: “Please enable locations on your device”
- Outside of geofencing: “You are too far from the meeting location. Please check below map for details”
Once all of the required steps are complete, you will be able to check-in.
Settings after check-in
Upon checkin, an email is sent to the Visitor with a default message (This can be edited in the Message Templates portlet). This includes a check-out button which redirects the user to the tdsVisitor Web Application where they will be able to check out. The message will be triggered on Visitor check-in if Kiosk Workflow > Workflow Settings > 'enable_checkin_email' is enabled and if Configure Notification > Checkin template for Visitor is enabled.
The message can be edited under 'Message Templates > 'email_checkin_visitor'.
