Portlet functionality

Display options

When a portlet is opened, it will be maximized by default (tab format). All portlets can be restored down, moved and positioned according to user preferences. Once a portlet is placed it will be saved in that position until it is moved or closed.

  1. Restore down window;
  2. Close tab;
  3. Collapse portlet;
  4. Maximize portlet;
  5. Close portlet.

Bottom bar

All portlets have a paging toolbar at the bottom that indicates how many records are currently displayed. Use the Next Page, Previous Page, First Page and Last Page icons to navigate through the data.  It is also possible to Refresh the data being presented on grid (1), activate the auto-refresh function for some portlets (2), export the data to a csv file (3), print it (4) & help Manual (5)

You can change the auto-refresh interval (seconds) by clicking the arrow next to "Auto".

Columns

Columns can be resized and reordered by drag and drop. When you hover a column, an arrow appears, and by clicking on it you can access the sort options and check/uncheck any columns you wish to unhide/hide. The sorting can also be changed through a double-click on the column header.

Filters

Grid results can be filtered by:

  1. Date range - click the calendar icons to pick dates or type it in the fields;
  2. Keyword search - after typing in the keyword, the grid will present all records where the search term appears in any of the columns;
  3. More options - allows further filtering of the data displayed. Click the Search button after selecting the criteria to activate the filter, and Reset to remove it.

Timeout

tdsvisitor will automatically timeout if it has not been used for a certain amount of time (configurable), and a popup will be displayed. Click OK and use the browser refresh button if required.

Date format

The dates will be displayed as per the language settings in your browser. In other words, if your browser's language is "English (United States)", then the dates and time will be presented in American format.
