QR Settings

The QR Settings portlet allows users to set field labels, default values and which of them will be enabled on QR page, csv mapping, links, among other configurations. Form fields can also be created, modified, removed and defined as mandatory or not per Collection Point.

To open the QR Settings portlet, go to Menu > Settings > QR Settings.

The grid will present all QR global settings. Simply click the Edit icon to update any values.

All the settings composed by the name of the field followed by "_enable" allow you to turn on a field (set to 'Yes') or to disable it (set to 'No'). Once a value is updated, the Collection Points that have this field associated will automatically get this change.

Create a new field

1. Click the QR Form Fields button;

2. On Edit QR Form Fields popup, click Create Field;

3. Fill out the required information:

  • Field type - choose between a free Text field or Combo Box. For Combo Box, you must specify the values for selection (up to 10).
  • Config Slot - the position in which configurable field will be placed on QR page;
  • Field Name - identifier of the field/combo, to be presented as the label on QR.

4. Click Save to commit your changes.

5. The new field will now be available for selection when setting form fields for a Collection Point.

View form fields

1. Click the QR Form Fields button;

2. On Edit QR Form Fields popup, select a Collection Point and all the associated fields will show up.

Any fields turned off through QR Settings portlet will present the Disabled text next to it, to remind the user that even being associated to this location they will not show on QR page; the ones with the Required checkbox selected will be mandatory when trying to add a Visit for this Collection Point.

3. Click Cancel to go back to QR Settings portlet.

Add field

1. On Edit QR Form Fields popup, select the Collection Point to which you want to add a field;

2. Click Add Field;

3. A new dropdown will appear in the form; select one of the fields available from the list.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary (you can associate up to 18 fields for a Collection Point);

5. Click Save to commit your changes.

Remove field

1. On Edit QR Form Fields popup, select the Collection Point from which you want to remove a field;

Untick the box (1) Visible on Kiosk, Once unticked the field (2) Kiosk Required is also disabled. The Form Field will no longer be associated to the selected Collection point on the kiosk.

Untick the box (3) Visible on QR, Once unticked the field (4) QR Required is also disabled. The Form Field will no longer be associated to the selected Collection point on the kiosk.

2. Click Remove Field;

3. The last field on the list (top to bottom) will be removed; repeat step 2 as necessary.

4. Click  (5) Save to commit your changes, or (6) Cancel to discard it.
