Monitor Kiosk
This view enables users to check the current status of tdsvisitor kiosks. It automatically refreshes in order to provide real time information about kiosk communication with the system and any technical issues (e.g. Reader Status).
To open Monitor Kiosk, go to Menu > View > Monitor Kiosk.

All kiosks will be listed on grid along with the communication status. A green tick means the communication is working fine (i.e. the kiosk can be used for registration and collection), while the red indicates that tdsvisitor could not establish a communication with the kiosk.
Click the View on Map button to see the location of your kiosks around the globe.

A map will be presented as in the following picture. Click the points in the map to see information about that kiosk.

Update kiosk
This feature allows tdsvisitor to signalize the kiosk that a refresh is necessary to pick up changes applied to the database. To do so, click Update Kiosk button on Action column.

A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to proceed with the operation.

Update Kiosk button gets disabled and Needs Update column is populated with a green tick; once the kiosk communicates with tdsvisitor and refresh, the tick disappears and the button is enabled again.

The settings are presented depending on whether the Collection Point is a kiosk or tablet type (see Settings section for more information on kiosk settings). After modifying any values, click Save to commit the update.
